associate's to bachelor's

Regis University

Regis understands the needs of transfer students, so we have created a program that assures success. The Associate's to Bachelor's program allows students with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree to make a smooth transition to earn a Bachelor’s degree. Students are encouraged to apply to Regis while completing their community college education. Students can take credits at the community college beyond their Associate’s degree to transfer up to 90 credit hours to Regis University. Regis advisors will provide a structured degree plan that maximizes credits earned. Through partnerships with hundreds of community colleges across the nation, Regis and schools in our alliance provide guidance and support to transfer students to help them achieve their educational goals.

CLEP and DANTES (DSST) Exams

The College-Level Examination Program® or CLEP provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. The DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST) is a nationally recognized testing program that provides students the opportunity to receive college credit for learning acquired outside the traditional college classroom. The program consists of exams in 47 undergraduate college courses.

Prior Learning Assessment Portfolio

Prior Learning Assessment Portfolio allows students to earn college credit based upon knowledge earned through life and work experience. Portfolio specialists guide and assist students through the process of matching learning experiences to college course descriptions.

Transfer credit from previous coursework

Students can transfer up to 90 credits from their associate's degree or previous community college coursework. Advisors will work closely with students to assure the maximum number of credits are transferred to Regis.

“Regis has everything an adult student is seeking—accelerated classes, convenient locations near work and home, and a strong reputation.”
