Bachelor of Science in Accounting
128 Semester Hours
The Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting prepares students for accounting careers with a
broad range of responsibilities-from general ledger bookkeeping to financial planning, performance analysis,
budgeting, managing controls, taxation, and auditing. This degree incorporates the most current technology
and accounting techniques while providing a strong foundation in ethical practices. A degree in
Accounting prepares professionals for jobs in private businesses, government or nonprofit agencies,
and public accounting firms.
Choose from two degree tracks in this program:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting (128 credits)
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting CPA Track (150 credits). This Track includes graduate level
course work to satisfy requirements to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.
