The major in Applied Psychology is designed for students aspiring to work in human services area and for those already working in the field who wish to gain greater knowledge and skill. Sources contribute to career preparation in: criminal justice, domestic violence programs, adolescent or substance abuse counseling, and human services. Courses offer both theoretical foundations through readings and lectures, as well as practical application in different occupational settings through case studies, visits by guest lecturers, and community projects.
